Hi, I am planning to go to Thailand early January. Now I would love to get some hints of Hotels in Bangkok, Hua Hin, Chiang Mai, Udon Thaini and Pattaya.

I am looking for good hotels, with a decent standard, in the pricerange of 1500-2500 THB.

well.. i wanna suggest u a hotel.. oppss can't say its hotel.. just guesthouse.. not sure what u want from hotel.. but this guesthouse = tv,bed,nice bathroom,fridge,cabinet,air-con... 550 baht per night.. near the royal orchid sheraton.. () just wanna suggest.. nice day

suggest u search thry google or yahoo with advanced search with words like hotels in bangkoks, you would likely chance upon a whole list of hotels in bangkok, offering different rates.

you can find hotel from the website above offcourse, and I might tell you that you should make online reservation, it's cheaper than you walk-in ...

dont expect so much from the pic that you have seen in website, Asia Hotel is around 1000 bath per night / 50% price by online reservation, I have just been there, it's ok as you can go to sky train directly from hotel's bridge.

but one thing, when i been there, they asked my bf that "did you check in for 2 persons" lolz Am I look like a gogo girl or what?

But you know few days later I have seen 2 ladyboys in an elevator with a foreigner guy .... did they check in for 3...some? hahaha~ Just I have been few more hotels but no one asked me like securities at Asia Hotel

in BKK, a lot of hotel in sukhumwit area ... around 1000-2500 like you want .. Ambassador is ok, but not sure for price check it in website plz, my foreigner friends told me that there are a lot of good and cheap hotels around soi nana- area. But I have no idea ..

for hua hin - I might advice City Beach hotel, it's biggest hotel in that area. (Not count Hilton or Sofitel as they're expensive than 2500 for sure) I dont remember exactly price, I think it's not more than 2500. But still have other hotel just I never been there.

No Idea for Udon Thani, Pattaya and ChiangMai never been any hotel over there ...

If you don't mind paying in the upper range in BKK I'd definitely recommend the President Solitaire.

If in Chiang Mai check out the Top North Hotel not TN guest house. Right at thapae gate inside old city. Excellent service, pool, cafe, travel agent etc.

Best of all well under 1000b. Ive been staying here for two months already and it is where many non sex tourists stay.

I agree sabbai inn/lodege in pattaya is also good value with pool. Lodge 950b is more expensive but worth the extra luxury and less sex tourists.

Depending where you want to be in BK. Royal Hotel is good and close to KSR or ambassador in Sukhumvit soi 11. (very busy though)

A little tip if you want somwhere cheap, big rooms and clean and quiet in sukhumvit. try PB hotel soi 3 at 750b great value and walking distance to most of the attractions and BTS.
