hbkbkk
There are a lot of freedom in thailand just like the united state. As an example, I can go the white house in the united state and shout out loud "george bush sucks..".. Here in thailand I can go to the grand palace and so the same.. "george bush sucks"
sunsnow
Swiss man pardoned (not really surprise). But pardoning came quite quickly. Maybe the situation needed someone to show international community that there is still someone in the scene with reasonable mind. Or as some commentators point out on the youtube case on another blog, "it doesn't matter what international community thinks but what the actions tell to the locals", maybe this is totally internal showcasing, some kind of internal political "show"..."Look guys, have to pardon the man this quick, so you wont forget that you did silly things in other people's name. Now shuu!") Oh well, this was nice thread all and all. Although the poll got quite few votes in time but thread brought up good discussion. Case closed. Let the people move on without learning anything from their and others past actions and decisions.
