I'm finally back home!
Because of the Icelandic volcano I had overstayed my visa in Thailand, but since the Immigration Police didn't blame me for the eruption they were nice and let me go home without paying any fee.
They even gave me a "volcano stamp" in my passport!
See you next time!
I've been stuck in Bangkok since April 19. Every day I have been in touch with Thai Air, trying to get back home. Today I finally received the good news that I'll be going home Thursday night. I'll be landing in Norway Friday morning, 12 days behind schedule...
Bye bye Thailand, and hope to see you again soon
I was planning to fly back home to Norway on Sunday, but my flight was cancelled. So now I'm stuck in Bangkok, and I have no idea when I can go back home. It can be days or weeks..... Oh lord. I was expected back to work tomorrow, but my boss is nice and he understands that it wasn't me who set off the volcano...... My insurance company is paying for my hotel and they also give me 1600 baht a day for food and other expenses, so I'm ok. I only wish I knew when I could go home.....
My vacation (part I) is starting today, and I'm so happy to go back "home" to Thailand. For the first time I'll fly directly from Norway to Thailand and that will save me a couple of hours in the air. Thanks to Thai Air to open the new route!
First I'll stay in Bkk for a few days and it'll be GREAT to see my Offy again )) Then we'll fly to Phnom Penh before we travel to Siem Reap/Angkor Wat. When we're done temple spotting we'll take the bus back to Bkk, stay there a few days, before we head
Today is my gf's birthday!!! Yiippiiiii! hehe
I'm not sure how old she'll be, but I think it's either 17 or 25!
I wish I could be in Bangkok now, but I'll have to wait a few more weeks before I can go!
I miss you and I'm happy to see you again soon!
Happy birthday dear Offy!
I've just booked my vacation and it's not a big surprise for anyone that my destination is...... It was nice to see my TF friends again too. Right now I feel sad to be back in cold and dark Norway. It's snowing outside today...... arghhhhhh
What the h*** am I doing in Thailand? Well, I rate Thailand as number 1 even though NG prefer the fjords of Norway.

I've just booked the 2nd vacation to Thailand this year for Arvid and my self! We'll arrive in my 2nd home October 9th and will fly back home November 3rd.
In March we had the mixed pleasure of flying with Aeroflot, and that was a once-in-our-lifetime experience. We'll never fly an old Russian cargo plane again..... This time we'll fly with Swissair and I'm sure that will be a pleasent flight.
I'm not sure where we'll go this time, but we've talked about going to Khao Lak and Phuket. We hav

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who came to the TF event yesterday. It was very nice to meet you all, and I really feel lucky to have good friends like you in Thailand.I didn't take many pics with my cam, so I'll only post this one:
Oh, tomorrow I'll fly to Ko Samui! Yippiii! We'll be back in Bkk around March 18 after some days on Samui and Koh Chang! See ya all!
After 2,5 hours from Oslo to Moscow, 6 hours at the airport and a 9,5 hours nightmare of a flight from Moscow to Bangkok I'm finally "home"! I'm really too tall for the Aeroflot planes...... But nevertheless, I'm very happy to be back in Thailand, and I'm looking forward to meet lots of TFers at the event on Saturday! See ya!
We have finally decided where to have our TF Event on March 7. Because of our lack of imagination and a hint of laziness, the event will be held at the same place as our event in September last year. Everyone is welcome to join us! Arvid and I will be there from 8 pm and everyone will be served a drink or two and some ligth snacks (until our money is gone.....). Click on Larry's to view who already signed up, and join them!
PS! And can anyone/anybody tell me the difference between anyone/
Hi!As some of you know my friend Arvid and I will host a TF event on March 7. Until now I've been thinking to have the event at Tawandaeng, but I'm not so sure if this is a good idea. The problem with Tawandaeng is that its crowded in the weekends, and it's not easy to book a table for more than 20 people. As of today 28 people have signed up for the event and I know some TF members never sign up for any events, but still likes to join, and I have some non-TF-friends who will be there as well.S
Please do me a favour and vote for my friend Sa (ex TF member tearrygreet) and help her win a model contract! Please vote as many times as you can for the next 2 weeks here:http://www.bennettsbabesearch.co.uk/profile/357/tearrygreet.aspx Thank you guys!
It's been snowing a lot here lately, so I had to drive up to the mountain to remove the snow from the roof of our cabin. Here are some snowy and cold pics for you to enjoy i hot hot hot Thailand.
