The evening started slow.. with dinner at cafe Iguana at clark quay, with my sisters and ummmm "PAT" with my sister and him bickering about who should make the chicken fajitas, guacamole,sour cream, toamtoes... nachos... etc. yummy.. and cafe Iguana's very own lagers.. Last night I experienced my first loy Krathong festival in Singapore. I have been very curious about it since I heard of how beautiful it was to see all those lighted candles on the krathongs many years back. My first night in Bkk went to justmyself's birthday party but did not really get to know most of the tfers there as I was too shy! Been wanting to learn diving for the longest time! Since march last year.. but having to wait for friends or dive partners.. I keep having to put it off! Well not this time!! Will be in bkknext fri. 13th to 23rd! By hook or by crook I have to learn it this time!!! Fell in love with the real Thailand only in Jan this year.. have been there a few times b4 this .. But just to tourist attractions... This year I have been captivated by the Thai culture, Beaches, value for money shopping!! Polite/friendly people.. most of all The loads of Yummy Thai Food! So far have been to thailand 6 times this year since Jan 2006!! Love it!!!! This year has seen me through Krabi(4 times), Ko Phangan, Ko samui, Bkk, hatyai, Ko phi phi(twice),Ko lanta(twice).. looking forward
