Two months ago an 84 year old man was arrested in Nigeria for polygamy. He is currently married to 86 (!) women. Last week he was released on bail pending his hearing.
An Islamic court already ruled that they feel having 4 wives is enough and ordered the man to divorce his other 82 wives. Civil liberty organisations in Nigeria have arranged for 86 lawyers to deal with these divorces.
