Yesterday we celebrated "supersweet"'s birthday in sizzler at WTC. We were there for about 3 hours. During this time I actually spend a lot time chatting with supersweet's male friends. I think we can relate to each other.

One of my employee just bought a new mobile phone. Probably because it was pay day 2 days ago. It is amazing to see the joy in their eye and how proud they are of their phone.
A nice mobile phone seem to be a symbol of success in bangkok.
Now that I think about it, most people in bangkok actually have a better phone than in the US. The main reason could be that the phone in US is normally free with the signing of a service plan.

Once again it is the begining on a new month. Yesterday, there were a lot of happy faces in the office. Mainly cause it is pay day. There were people going out to dinner or drinking together. The seem so happy but I kind of feel sad that some of my employee would actually have to wait until pay day to do something like that. But then again, they are probably not alone. There are probably a lot of people who live from month to month, pay day to pay day.

It had been a busy day for me and some of TF member had beaten me to writing their journal on TFer meeting yesterday.
Yesterday was the first time I get to met some of the TF members. It wasn't easy getting there. I had to endure some rains and more than a hour of traffic to get there. I need to give special thanks to my driver and assistance. Also a thanks to gin for putting up with the numbers of phone calls we placed asking for direction.

This is a familiar scene for me in bangkok as I am in car or taxi. I can look out the window and see little children on the middle of the road selling something. Most of the time, it is lotus flowers.
The children are normally really young from age 3 to 11. My first feeling is sadness and wanting to help. Afterall it is only 20 bhts. But as I think about it a little more by doing so, do I really help or hurt the child. The reward would only encourage them to return the next day. Again putting

Starbucks coffee at silom is my favorite place to be on sunday. It is right across from california fitness and next to Zen japanese restaurant. This starbuck is a little different from other starbuck. There is this 2nd floor that allow people to relax and watch as the day goes by. There are current magazines to read as well as comfortable chair or sofa to sit in.
I normally bring my laptop and do some works here. So I actually works 7 days in a weeks. It is also good to just sit here and watch

I got back to bangkok from hong kong last night. I think I done more walking in a day at hong kong than a week here in bangkok. I was pretty tired and am just glad to be back in bangkok and back to working (my true love).
While I was there I met with to_my_dear_darling, she is a very pretty and smart girl. I just hope that her special someone in new york realize that.

Once again, I find myself reading other people's depressing and heart break journals. As usual I don't have any heart break story. The biggest heart break story I have recently is when the Spurs lose to the Lakers. But then I feel better when the Lakers lose to the piston.
