Being that Friday is the day of Sabbath here in Afghanistan, we are going to have a Songkran dinner and party tonight. The dinner and party is will be held at a Thai food restaurant here in Kabul. The owner and cooking staff are from Thailand.

Then on Friday, we are all going to meet at the same restaurant and have a serious water fight outside in the garden?hahaha. So even though we can not get home for the party, we are going to have our own mini Songkran Festival here?

Oh yeah, we is referring to a number of expats working here in Afghanistan that are either Thai?s or expats who live in Thailand.

I too like to wish all TFers a very Happy Songkran and that all may have a prosperous 2549...
