Every time I scan journals there seems to be more than enough emotional content to even give Disney a run for their money. Mistakes suck and sometimes so does life but you can't tuck your tail and run. My dad gave me a great piece of advice:

"go for the drunk ones...they cost you less and will think your handsome"

but more importantly:

"the only person that can make you happy is you"

Maybe it sounds selfish but it always proves true. When I'm in a funk I need to force myself out of it. You can have the best life on the surface but still be miserable. If a particular person or feeling or ice cream made you happy...then go find it again!
