I saw you as I drove by.

I stopped to ask you?

If you had really lived.

Had you loved all that you could?

Had you faced the challenges of life head on

Without flinching, or surrendering an inch.

But I drove off with tears in my eyes,

For your body language said more than words ever could.

Your eyes were haunted by fear.

You had surrendered your dreams to survive.

And in doing so had died.

But this death is of the worst kind

For it?s being dead, whilst still being alive.

I like this.....certainly a true reflection of most human being.

A very deep & meaningful message. I agree with comments of Cosmo & Wallace.It is Sad & True, but I also find it Inspirational as well. It gives us the opportunity to re- assess our lives & the motivation to change it. We all have had to compromise at some stage in our lives. One should never ever Sacrifice or Surrender one's Dreams or Aspirations. Live out your Dreams & enjoy Life to the Maximum. THat's Life!
