Well how's everyone celebrating this hyped up season of giving? Technically Christmas is a time to be 'giving', yes, but dont you think in the materialistic world we live in today, we've kinda distorted the 'true' meaning of this event?

I mean look - today i was doing some shopping, (along with the rest of the Christmas Sheep Herd) and everyone was nasty about everything!! its like, "GET YOUR BLOODY HANDS OFF THAT ELF, ITS MINE, DAMN IT! FOOK YOU, WHO GIVES WHAT KINDA CHRISTMAS YOU HAVE?? I GOTTA BE *GIVING* THIS PLAYSTATION TO MY SON!! WHO CARES IF YOU'VE ALREADy PAID FOR IT???"

sweet, innit.

Maybe next year i should just go around, being 'giving' in the emotional sense, (like i am the rest of the year? ) and do *good deeds* for loved ones, instead of giving pressies. that'd be more meaningful, right?

nah. presents would be easier.

oh oh and did you guys ever believe in santa? i did, till i was about 10.. i dont know how i found out he didnt exist, but i do remember one funny occasion where 'Santa' bought us a video game, and we opened it, and the box was empty. *laughs* the next day, my dad went to the shop where santa supposedly bought it from and kicked up a fuss. *grin* i think that was the turning point. that and he didnt drink the milk and cookies i lefto ut for him.

Hehe Christmas is suppose to be jolly too.. but a lot of parents turn out to be grumpy since they have to spend a lot! (includng me )

I think most of us thought santa claus was real.. i even put cookies and milk on a table aswell (in the end it turned out to be my dad that ate the cookies ).

Funny how twisted things get... a day that is meant to be about the birth of a religious figure is turned into Santamas instead... i dont really care myself the only reason I 'celebrate' Christmas is just as an excuse to get together with family and argue... hold on that cant be right :S

I dont give many presents on Christmas day I figure it distorts what the day is meant to be about and if im going to give someone something I will do it some other time of year, just because I want to not because I am expected to give...
