I feel kinda bad that I have no gossip...  Then again I don't know anyone on TF to gossip about so maybe you can just endure my drivel instead... Had a run-in with another car the other night.  Nothing serious but took some paint off near the back left wheel.  Insurance guy ticked some box on the accident assessment form which apparently meant I didn't qualify to have it fixed at Toyota.  Figures...I track down the place I'm supposed to go and this looks far worse than any garage I've ever seen in Canada and I used to live in the sticks.  I was skeptical but it was the only way I was gonna get free repairs so I left it.  They called me and told me it was finished 3 days early.  Today I take the day off to go pick it up and there is some horrendous color blending on the back bumper.  When I pointed it out the guy says "duh...that was there before wasn't it?"   To which I should have replied..."yeah...just like that black eye you have".  But I was civil instead and asked them to fix it.  I thought not so bad until he told me that it will be ready in 3 hours.  I'm thinking what kind of shop can do a professional paint job and have it dried and ready in 3 hours?  Not only that but the rain today would have made for a great parting gift if I had driven it home with paint streaming off the back end. Supposed to be finished tomorrow.  Guess we'll see.  It is a 2006 so I kinda want it to look good.  Just my luck.
