I am visiting your lovely country again in April.My first stop for a week will be Jomtien, does anyone knows if there are busses to Jomtien from the new airport? I'll be arriving in 6 in the morning, is that to early?I just to travel with a taxi, but my friend thinks it is more fun to use a bus.  Hope you have some usefull information. Thanks Tonie

Ouch...yeah. Nothing that I am aware of that leaves from the airport itself. Have to go to Ekamai which will likely add 30 min to an hour to the whole process. Could always try thumbin a ride.

First of all, give your friend who gave you the advice about "fun busses" an uppercut.

At 6 in the morning, even if there WERE busses from the airport, they would go to the station in N. Pattaya. So you'd then have to worry about getting transport to your hotel in Jomtien. If you choose to go back into BKK and leave out of Ekkamai, your entire day will be transport -- probably involving taxis anyway.

You're on holiday -- take a taxi and you'll be in Jomtien in 90 minutes, straight to your hotel door.

There are only buses that will take you to various spots in BKK but not to Pattaya, don't even think about Jomtien. U'll basically have to come to BKK first to take a bus. The airport is almost half way from BKK to Pattaya itself, so I don't see how fun it'll be wasting ur time going back and forth.

I recommend taxi from the airport to your hotel and then if u wanna walk or hitch hike in Pattaya for fun, that can be another story.

It's have Airport bus to take u from Suwannapum to Pattaya(Jomtien beach) will take ur time only 90 mins on the otherhand u can go back to airport by these bus also.....

Wow it has airport bus from airport to Jomtien beach really?? Take that one.

There is supposed to go a bus straight out the termanal. First one at 9 in the morning.

1000 bht and 90 minutes and you at Jomtien with taxi !! bus is like another trip no way itcant be fun at 6am after a flight
