Can someone advise me of a website where I can download some cure-protection-fix for malicious spyware and adware on my old laptop......need to download off web because disc drive not work. I get many pages pop up uninvited every 20 seconds and its driving me nuts!!!!!! Or anyone know where I can buy a decent 2nd hand laptop.

if your disc drive does not work how are u getting the pop ups?

go to microsoft. they have a good free spyware program.

Instead of Ad-aware you can use Spybot as well... but Ad-aware is fine too

adaware ans spybot are basic essentials...but be careful with spybot..you can make your computer not work if you delete the wrong things.

there are LOTS more to use.

curious what firewall you are using and which antivirus system.

if you have time, i can come look at it for you, and do what i can to clean it up.

all you have to do is VISIT a bad website to get viruses, spyware and adware nowadays

there are special programs you can install, that prevent EVERYTHING being written to your hard drivel

you might end up having to save what you need out of your computer, and reformat your hard drive, and start fresh.

if you want a used laptop, they are a dime a dozen at around 7,000 baht...but why bother?

you can get a new one for around 23,000 baht.
