Tried to use the UK pound symbol in a message on a journal earlier and when I looked at the message it was a scrambled code, anyone know why do I have to use a $ symbol instead 

Cos your PC is set to English (Unites States) as its language at a guess?

Go to Control Panel - then pick the icon that shows languages.

Select change language at the next choice, and then change it to English (United Kingdom)

You should then get a pound symbol, but I cant remember what key you have to press to get it!!

This only happens in TF not in any of my programs or other sites I am not that daft I would have my keyboard set to USA when living in the UK
