Just to let you know how this all started, right about the time Gav was by to visit, my girl and I were having problems. I won't get into all the details, except that she was spending alot of time gone. I learned that she was gambling every night and had lost over 150,000 baht in 3 days.    Things declined rapidly after this and the gambling continued and the fights got worse. So, I gave my ultimatem and finally left on Jan 25. Soon after this I went to the Wat, during a talk with  Lung Pa, I decided to enter the Wat.I was there for 3 days before the actual Bort ceremony. Then had a grand celebration there were 4 of us, me being the only farang. Everyone at the wat cuts a snip of your hair, then a monk shaves your head, including your eyebrows. Then there was a parade of sorts through Korat with about 20 trucks, one with a band. We arrived at a larger Wat and the actual initiation into the monkhood took place.Arriving back to my Wat I was a full fledged Pra. At this point my world changed dramately.I went to bed and found out we wake up at 3:30 to 4:00 in the morning. (about the time I used to finished a party night in Bangkok), At 4 we sweapt the temple and then had morning prayers. Then about enought time to shower and have a cup of coffee. At 5:45 we walk the village with our Bot to collect food, this is done barefoot, something my feet had to get used to. We walked about 1 and 1/2 Kilo's. Then we get to eat. It is now 7:00 am.Page 2 tomorrow:
