my friend thitipat wrote a journal and seemed like a lot of confusion the term gig or gik so I wanted to clarify it a little more gig or gik is kind of a multipurpose role word.when both peopel are single is can be anything from when people are "just dating" or "seeing each other" (which as we all know has not real title), to friends with benefits, **** buddies, and even the recycled ex butty call Now where it gets into mirky waters is when one or both have a partner already so here we go. A gig can once again be anything from a lover (and for the thai lover means sex which many thai's misuse this term for effectionate dating and not physical relationship), the "office bf/gf" where they do things for you but it's nothing really romantic because you are , they, or both are in involved, a full on secret affair which the mistress or mister( I guess that is what the guy is called) are aware or not, done to something harmless where it's someone when you go out you kind of hold hands and stuff acting like bf and gf but nothing really romantic or physical beyong like holding hands.  This confusion comes from Thailands spectrum of traditional to moedern views of dating. Where you ahve super hot girls who are still virgins into their 30's and girl's who have done more things then you by 18 and they don't work in a bar even. So just clarify what it means or what the exact relationship is if you suspect someone you are intimate with what it means.

And now you get me more CONFUSED..lolz..

so if u collect 10 gigs... does that make up a "GAK" or a "teragig"
