ok I am invited by a family to go to Wat Dom Kang , about 8 km from Damnun Saduak, the famous floating market. She is about 70 years old, and the witch ( mae mot) of the village.

I had a home stay there about 20 years ago, and we got along very well, so now I want to go there again :D

From Onnut I take the BTS to the Taksin bridge and then the boat to ???

and then a Taxi to the bus terminal??

chuay duay!!

depending on traffic...taxi the entire way might be the best option.

Other than that, exactly as you said would work. But I stick with the original plan...

taxi!

The air-conditioned bus number 511 will take you directly there from Sukhumvit. It won't cost much, but it will take quite a bit of time depending on traffic, so if you do decide to go this route, bring a good book with you.

If you're coming from Onnut, you can save a little time by taking the BTS as far as the Ploenchit station and catching the bus from there. The bus turns right at the street that passes in front of Central World and after crossing the canal it turns left on Phetchaburi Road.

It's really an easy and cheap - but lengthy ride.
