Interesting video but not sure I get your comment about US way of life.

i like to travel a lot, and do compare countries trying to see the best and the worst... I like US a lot, do have family in Minnessota. But i must admit if every country use energy and ressources as US do, our planet cannot support it. They also are good topics: inland water management is now about the best, because they double the sewer system. Polluted domestic waters sewage stations are not overflowed in case of heavy rains, because of separate sewer for raining waters. After St Paul - minneapolis big city, the Mississipy is clean and you can swim in safe, which is not at all possible within most other countries. But global pollution risks is not mastered at all... And big companies seems to control the country, even within the way to eat too fat. But ok, one line, even one page is not enough to balanced advice.
