Skijumping in the summer
I've been a good boy lately and started to take trips around my city on my bikecycle. Yesterday I went up to the skijumping hill which they built for the 1994 winter olympics. They have put plastic in both hills now, so the jumpers can use it in the summertime as well.
You can read about the hills here: http://www.olympiaparken.no/english/index.asp?menuItem=18
This is the view I had back in 1994 when I witnessed the big hill competition in minus fricking 20 degrees..... Brrrrr!
To climb these stairs is a pretty good exercise......
I think it's time for a haircut soon......
The view over lake Mjoesa, the largest lake in Norway
I live somewhere between the end of the cornfield and the river......
Down to the right you can see the 2 icehockey-arenas they built for the olympics. The biggest one can hold more than 10 000 spectators, which is kind of impressing since there's less than 25 000 people in the city of Lillehammer.
