I've noted through the years the difference between men and women is that men really are the ones who love truly and women seem to be the ones who are more concerned with how you look , dress, what you do, drive, etc. Granted there are exceptions to every rule so yes they are generalizations but fits a vast majority. So lay off we all understand that. lol Doubt me?..... proof How many girls say they go for the bad boy look? huh look not anything else but look! want more.A guy will flirt with and date a girl from mcdonalds or even a bar girl but a woman will not even look at a guy in mcdonalds or some such thing! Woman will not date a guy shorter then them! Women want a nice in shape guy or even muscular guy with six pack.... men only want you to be healthy at least ... if even that!How many women have tried to change their guy after bring with him but how many had their guy try to change them? Men like a women for who she is when he dates and more woman try to change everything down to the friends a guy has!Women expect romance, winning and dinning men just expect love and respect since when was the last time a woman sent something to his office for his birthday or anniversary, a surprise romantic dinner out? Women will not marry a man she has to support (usually) men often marry a women he has to support including her family!This is not just opinion it's also been written up in numerous women's magazines and other reports about males and female differences.

Sorry Paul but I have to disagree with you on this one. First of, how do you define love? Love can have many meanings. Likely love means something different for men than it does for women. The exemples you mention just demonstrate that women have different criteria (if these are indeed their criteria) than men for falling in love.
