OK, the thing is. It was not in anyway hinted in Finnish news, just mentioned what type of reputation this plane has (and maybe in between the lines you could read the amazement that anyone went on to buy these things in Thailand). But it seems so much that there is possibility for military kick backs and middle man cheating in this deal. As you post those links...This JAS fighter has been called "tractor" or similar in media because its poor quality and safety record (meaning that it turns around ground like farmers do with their tractors...)

maybe thailand bought it as trainer before spending money on more expensive planes from the US, briton, france or even russia? Even the electronic flight simulaltors for the f-15 probably as much as a few of those planes haha

guttes2: This could really make big story in Sweden if any journalist picked it up. There is all the parts of bad deal making here: Selling to military junta, overpricing of planes (=bribes)... Check out what Thailandjumpedtheshark has uncovered. This is all about BAE Systems selling around the globe Swedish planes for exhange of bribes. This has been going on before. And Swedish government who in the end gives Swedish companies permissions to take weapons out ot the country is responsible in the end/could stop this. Or is this too much about saving Swedish jobs by allowing sales to dictators and with bribes...Hmm, I wouldn't expect that from Sweden. :) Take this to your local newspaper, this is great lead for a story!
