Well I recall that in Chiang Rai it was pretty hard to be able to find new music that I liked without being in an actual record shop. Perhaps it's easier in Bangkok, but I would like to recommend you this site: http://www.last.fm/Easy to watch clips, giving you suggestions of similar bands, listening cd's (only 30 seconds per song though) finding your favourite artist on the radio and last but not least a good event listing... also for Thailand!!I really like the build in streamed radio... it asks you for your favourite artist. Then the radio will start to play similar groups...

no Duanja... the sign up part is for them to track you... That way 'they can better suggest you to new music'..

I didn't do that, but it is an option.. Also, when signed up, 'friends' (everybody) are (is) able to see what you are listening to..

Sounds interesting. I will definitely have to check it out in more detail...
