Howdy one and all. Well, after a spectacularly busy and fun-free year in 2007 I am dropping down to Phuket with my family 22-29 December. Stay in a Grand Pool Villa in Kata and CANT WAIT.

Gonna hire a car, play some golf. Just wondering - anything I 'SHOULD NOT MISS' to do it Phuket? Was there 3 yrs ago but now the lil baby I had then is a near-5-year old that loves to be active. Did Phuket Fantasea - probably do it again as he will be a bit more alert!! Also - any recommendations for a good old UK Style Xmas lunch? Any particular pub or hotel I should be trying to reserve? THoughts and recommendations would be hugely appreciated.

I was there at Jungceylon for water show during X'mas last year. It was a nice experience and the show were awesome. And it is free. ^^ Kid may love to feel the water spray on his face.

Walk to patong beach at night to launch hot-air balloon. Maybe 150 B each. And then look up the sky~

aparently the green man does a very good xmas dinner- not sure of the costs though!!
