The wise one [TF girl],gave me the link for recruiting Thai staff for a 5*hotel project outside Thailand that my company is recruiting for.

Imagine our surprise that we have been officially told that the minimum salary to be paid to our lowest position [Female housekeeper who will clean the hotel lobby],MUST be paid 16000 baht a month,8hrs aday,free food and lodging.

Sorry thailand but we switched the whole recruitment to the Philippines and India.

DOES THE 16000BAHT FEMALE CLEANER EXIST?

Well of course its going to be more. Who in their right mind would want to leave Thailand to go work in another Country?? Now PI and India I can understand.

Better to recruit the local girls where that 5* hotel stated or indian and philippino girls and you prefer. I do agree with Onlynx that no need to say "sorry" to thailand and no need to look for slaves or maids from our country. I know some Thai people who work aboard in the same position you needed they get paid more than $400. If Thai people need to look for a job in foreign contries yes the reason is they want to earn more money than in Thailand but if not so why should they go? ...Thumb down to you too...

THANKS FOR THE COMMENTS BUT..this is for work in the Middle East,obviously if we were recruiting for Europe the salary would be different.

For the Middle East,we were looking for positions upto 240000 baht,all found,thats to say free 5* hotel food,accomodation [appartments],transportation etc

Onlynx ,yes u r right about agency fee,but we would pay that as well.
