I am wondering if you may suggest me where to find the real diamond ring in BKK. My friend is going to marry wtih her lover, but she wondered where to find the nice real diamond ring for her wedding. She would like to know whether she can find that in the shopping malls such as Beauty Gems,Diamond Today,etc . Can she trust that kind of shop in the shopping mall? If not, how about the shops around Silom or Sukhumvit areas?

 She went to see the diamond ring around Ban Mo( Pahurat) ,there were couple dimond shops owned by Chinese sellers.Can she trust that ?

She just want to get the small diamond ring ,not that expensive. Do you think  she can trust the diamond ring for her wedding which is cost about 15000-25000 for 0.02 karat of diamond ring ?

Another thing is she has heard that she has to prepare 9 things which means "Gold" such as Tong Yib, Tong Yod, Foy Tong,etc  for Thai marriage, but she 's unsure if she may have to arrange that completely or not. If not, can she skip that part or may arrange only couple of those things ?

I think the best area to check is the part of Charoen Krung (New Road) between the intersection with Si Praya and Silom. When I had to deal with a similar issue a couple of years ago I visited many many shops there and to me seem quite reliable (some more some less). In any case I did not have bad surprises.

On sunday most of them (if not all) are closed.

Always in the same area there's a small mall of stones but I would not go there.

Baan Mo used to be famous about Diamond.. i'm not sure about right now...Silom and Sukumvit is so expensive area

when u buy diamond...the shop will give you a certificate about that diamond.you can read it...Bann Mo is the old market for diamond...I think you can find a resonable price from there. start from Sapan Lek on the right side of the road there are many shop sale diamond and ring
