Too cut a long story short I have a girl who works for me who left her violent bf who has tracked her down and has come an caused problems for her in my bar in London. (Not Thailand as some of you thought in my last journal). Those of you who didnt read part 1 and want too its here

http://www.thailandfriends.com/index.php?name=Journal&view=journal&jid=52215&juid=43662 So after the events on Sunday night the Mongolian girl called me to talk about what her bf had done. I said we should talk later in the week when I was not so angry about it but she was outside my front door when she called so I let her in. She apologises for his behaviour and says that she did not ask him to come to her work he just turned up because her friend told him where she was. Apparently he bullied her in to telling him and has done this before. His friend is engaged to her best friend so he always manages to track her down when she leaves him.   This is not the first time he has done this in her work place and she said she is now worried about him coming down again with a group of friends and causing trouble for her and my staff like he did at her last job. We both decided it was best for her to leave the job but promised to remain friends. It's not possible for me to be there to protect her on all her shifts and my security staff only work at weekends.  She gave me big hug and kiss thanked me for all the things I have done for her over the last few months and left tearfully.  I dont think this will be the end of this situation for me as we have become quite close friends over the last 3 months, I have hang out with all her female friends who now regularly come to see me at my bar even if she is not working. I will try to do my best as a friend without putting her in to a position that will cause her more problems. I hope she will see sense soon and get the police involved otherwise she is never going to get free from her ex.

condotown: sadly that sort of dipshit still do that in asia. incidentally, there is a certain Ian M., formerly of Shanghai, currently in Finland, who will have a very, very, VERY bad day should we cross paths, and that's just one example. these guys come over here and they're still psychos. i suspect they may get even worse, coz the police are less likely to get involved.

"I know the have cracking long names in Khazakstan, maybe Mongolia is the same..."

actually i've at least one mongolian girl with a really short nickname ("Tul")....

no wait, then there's "Azjargalg" (don't ask me to pronounce it, she gave up trying to teach me how). so maybe "mongolian girl" is better....

darren28: "There is no need to be violent, absolutely none."

i'm not convinced of this. however, if she keeps going back to him, then it would do no good. violence and intimidation have their uses, but only if the stalkee wants to get rid of the stalker and takes the approrpiate measures.

gogi, broken wings: so choosing and staying with boyfriend who beats and intimidates you is a work of towering genius then? good luck to you if you try to live by that plan yourselves. i like to bet, but i woudln't put 50 satang on it ending well.
