After xmas I was going to leave my job, my boss really did not want me to go so I decided to give him another chance on the promise that he found me a new assistant. So far we have had no luck finding someone suitable. Today I got a phone call form my ex assistant manager today, she stopped working for me last August when she got a job offer that was supposedly a better position. Turns out it wasn't. I never wanted her to leave  as well as being great at her job she was also a true friend.We had a little chat and she wants to come back and work for me again, she is pleased to have  the break she needed from here (she was here 3 years before I started). So we will meet later in the week and sort out terms for her return, she was the best member of staff I ever had and I will be able to relax again when I am off duty.  

Get out of the bar business.........it will be better off for you in the long run............being face to face with liquor at your disposal on a daily basis will not help you........
