Buddy beer is a place to chat,eat and drink, but no dancing, also 90% Thai.

Susie is too packed, full of 18-21 Thai people drinking too much, rarely see westerners there.

The Club is good, but not so busy yet, since it reopened it's not got back the same number of people that used to be there, you'll have to pay, and there are few westerners in there.

Sidewalk is what it says, a sidewalk, but there's a club inside on the left I believe, not great though, the one time I went. 90% Thai, OK hip-hop and dance music.

Chinlom is a restaurant, and away from Khao San about 15 minutes walk.

Of the ones you posted, I would say Silk bar is OK, can be fun, you can be indoor/outdoor at the same time almost, it's got a mix of everything, music upstairs is nice and loud, some people dance when they feel like it.

Brick bar seems ok too... only went once, a while ago, not sure about the mix of westerners/Thais.

Si mentioned Gazebo, it's worth going there as an afterparty. Get's busy after 12 and goes on til way after 4am.

Gazebo, om Friday, if you going before 11.45 or sometime 11.30pm, u wont have to pay 300 baht entrance fee or else if you open a bottle, u dont need to pay either. The price goes up a bit after midnight tho'

A bottle of Smirnoff : 1000 with 3 mixers, red label 1500 or so while Absolute vodka is 1500, mixer each 30-40, Im not sureand a tower of Heineken is 600. . If going with many people, open a bottle is much cheaper than buying booze separately.. (in case you drink a lot) I dont remember how much a bottle of beer cost but Smirnoff Ice = 130 (b/f midnite), guess barcardi is a bit higher.. dont look at the menu a lot enough just remember what I used to order (in case you may think I working for Gazebo lol (pronounced Ga-zee-bo tho, I been calling it Ga-Ze-bo like Ka-ne-bo for months but thats how most ppl pronounce tho).

and alot of korean+japanese men I think.
