Today I had a conversation with my friends talking about the clubs, music and etc. After we have talked and discussed about the topics I just mentioned. One girl came to join our conversation and started sharing her point of view toward the topics.Normally, I love chatting with people coz it's a good way to get to know others and gain new visions , attitudes and many new ideas. But this time I felt like it was not what I expected. After this lady started opening her mouth babbling about her taste, life style and bla bla bla !!It got me and my friends real good to listen to what she was saying. Because some things she said go against the flow. For example , we are talking about where should we go clubbing ?! which club is good and how fun it was when we last hung out. Then she intervened our conversation saying  "I don't like clubbing and don't think that to go clubbing , partying does make people look kool or attract anyone. I prefer to stay home cooking and enjoy myself with something I like"  I was thinking what made her think that to go clubbing does make ppl look kool ?!  Would she try to present herself that she is different from others ?! These nagative questions popped up in my mind after she finished saying. So me and my friends changed to another topic "music" but it was still related to the last issue we chatted that we like to go to any club where they play hip-hop music and yeah there she did it again......saying "I don't like hip hop I don't like to  follow any trend " (So it means people who listen to Hiphop  follow the trend?!....what was on her mind when she said that..?!) "I like brit-pop (which I personally think some are bloody cheesy :P but I didn't say it) as well as Jazz and blue"After her words one question popped up in my mind again Why she gotta give such a negative reason saying what she doesn't like is not good...and trying hard to present that her taste or her life style is way so fab and better.Gosh this is just a small part of our conversation. It was really annoying, wish I would never face something like this again.....but I think I could not avoid it tho.  Well, If this happened to you , what would you do ?! Give me some ideas !

From Urban Dictionary: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=naysayer

1. naysayer

One who frequently engages in excessive complaining, negative banter and/or a genuinely poor and downbeat attitude. Naysayers are distinguished by their tendency to consistently view the glass half empty, make frequent one-way trips to negative town, and constantly emphasize the worst of a situation. They have the capacity to rant and whine for hours on end about the most insignificant inconveniences. They tend to travel solo, but have the keen ability to spread their pessimistic attitude to a group of unsuspecting bystanders and encourage others to employ their mindset.....

There are lots of ways to deal with a naysayer. I think the best is to get away from them as soon as possible.

Similar things have happened to me a few times. When that happens, I usually don't talk at all to the offending person, limiting my answers to "yes, no or maybe", when I have no choices but to speak. It's a bit rude but it works, if everyone does like this, the person quickly realize that nobody is interested to hear her bs.

Nothing new :) This person trying to concentrate everyone attention. Wonderbull explanation are perfect.

What to do? Kick her :) Joke. Or, this is another interesting option - try to interrupt her with any unusual question. She will shut up for sure :)

ha ha ha ha ha ha johnno, you're funny.

Doesn't like to go clubbing nor hip hop ain't a crime, of course NOT.

But I see LadyOrchid's point is "why insulting people who like different things as you do?"

Or you think people who like to go clubbing and hip hop don't have a mind of their own?

Thanks all, for sharing comments ^^

Of course, I will ignore her but I wanna give her a lesson so that she could realize something lol

I have been thinking to tell her directly that the way she talk doesn't please anyone but who knows she might not care about this because she is individual (like Damngirl79 said) :P

Do you guys think it will work ?! ( I hope that at least, it could stop her for a while haha)

==================================================================

Johnno: Thx for stopping by to share a dry joke or sarcasm I dunno how to define it but if you do understand my point of view in this journal you would not say something like that or (maybe you do but you just tried hard to put a sense of humour here which it worked coz you already look hilarious :D)

By the way, would you like to accompany her to jail ?!

Enjoy ^^
