I was kind of wating on this to happen but I thought it would have turned the other way around since for so long XM has been the higher winner in the satellite radio in the U.S..  But that does bode well for the people who bought the Sirius shares when they first opened. Given that this company was going to "Fail" it is now buying out the number 1 company.  Meaning if you have a Ford in the U.S. with the XM in your car it will still work but you will also have to have a upgrade done to keep it working.   Just thought I would throw that one out.here is a link to the artical http://apnews.excite.com/article/20080325/D8VKH0EG2.html

They are 2 of the biggest radio companys in the United states

Sirius went up 8.6% and XM went up about 12% so that will be good for some one that went on board at the beginning when for example when Sirius was trading at $1.40 a share that was about 6 years ago though.
