Drinking time for pandas
The earthquake in China in May had a devastating impact on the lives of pandas from which they are still recovering. At least 80% of their habitat in the quake-hit province of Sichuan was either destroyed or damaged. The endangered panda is revered as a national symbol in China, where about 1,600 pandas live in the wild, mostly in Sichuan and the neighbouring province of Shaanxi.
