It's very hard question because it depends of how that person look at you. Probably he think you're a great lovely person and he doesn't want to ruin the friendship. Currently i'm dating one of my close friend and i risk my friendship. IF the relationship fail, i know i'll lost a bf + close friend. It's suck BUT it's a part of life :-)
