In my, ahem, wilder days I was involved with a few sound systems. In particular I was in 2 Glasgow based systems; Desert Storm and Breach of the Peace. Lots of very silly fun was had putting on (illegal) free parties in fields, warehouses and basically anywhere we could get away with it!! The  annoying thing was; I always seemed to be the one nominated to talk to the police if or when they turned up!! (and usually worked something out)Desert Storm later left Glasgow (to Nottingham, then Rome then Spain) and their music went a little bit too mental (a style called breakcore which is about 180 bpm) but in the early days we usually played quite housey stuff with a hint of acid 303 sound. Breach broke up and the free party scene was 85% destroyed by the government, so my dj'ing returned to being club based (nowhere near as much fun as dropping a monster tune just as the sun is coming up over a mist covered Loch!!) Although DS later released many breakcore tunes on their own and other small labels, we did get one tune out on Soma in 1994. 5000 copies were pressed and it is now impossible to get (got offered £100 for one of my 2 copies last year) We wrote the first tune on a Sunday afternoon after a very long weekend with no sleep. Sat in Keiths living room/studio and just fooled around and thus Desert Storm the track was born. The flip side was Scoraig 93 - named after a weekend party we had done the year before in the far North West of Scotland (where lots of elderly locals even came to see what the fuss was about and then left shortly after with bemused expressions)The video was shot in and around Glasgow and the van was the original Stormmobile which we used to park outside clubs at 3am and turn the street into a party venue!!
