Reimbursement THB2,000/day for Thai who got stuck outside Thailand during the airport closure. I heard that Thai also can claim 2,000 baht a day so I checked with related parties. Tourism Authority doesn't know much about this so they asked me to call Ministry of Foreign Affair instead. Here we go what I have been told. I hope this can be useful for some people.There is no exactly date when/where you can submit document for reimbursement yet. Please wait for further announcement from Ministry of Foreign Affair or related organisation.However, please keep these docs ready:-1. Hotel Receipt 2. Tickets and/or Boarding pass3. Passport You can contact 24 hours call center (Ministry of Foreign Affair) at 02-643-3522 for more information.ps: This is the info I got from call center mentioned above, if anyone heard anything different from this pls feel free correct me.

2,000 Baht a day wont get anyone far if they are stuck in a city like London!

I don't fancy their chances of ever seeing the money!

But I wish them luck anyway.

There was an advert today in the Bangkok post, detailing on how peope

can clain this money. I believe Bkk bank and taking control of the situation.
