As I have made a promise to some of my friends that I will upload some pictures of my business trip to China. Here you go…

Left from Bangkok to Hangzhou on Nov’22. Not much interesting thing to do while was on board so had take some pictures to kill the time.

          Transit flight in Hong Kong airport and since had to wait for almost 4 hours to get on connecting flight so it was kind of bored. I then had been walking in and out of ‘Smoking Spa’ for few times. Of course, on smoking purpose! The room was on middle top of below picture.

            Arrived in Hangzhou airport at around 10pm. As the plane was about to land then I noticed outside was all wet so at first I thought it was rain but finally I realized it actually was foggy all around because it was freaking cold. I don’t know why I didn’t feel cold much. I felt fresh and cool but not cold. It might because my body got all excited. Or too much fat energy to burn. Eh? My boss was fly from France to Hangzhou since on Nov’18 so he came to pick me up at arrival hall. He and I had few cigs then we walked to a company car where driver was parking. A driver could not speak a single English word so no wonder why my boss came along with him to pick me up at the airport.

We had conversation on many topics along the way to the hotel. He told me that taxi driver there were really crazy and they are very much like honking. He asked me whether I would like to join him and his friends at French restaurant named PROVENCE (www.provence-hz.com) because they had rum party that night. Of course! I won’t refuse surely. It was on a Saturday night so I could enjoy the night and get drunk then wake up late next day.

It took about +30 minutes from airport to Holiday Inn hotel in Hangzhou where my boss and I stayed. Once we arrived at hotel then I checked in with my boss came along and I got the room on 21st floor and I just know that my boss’ room was on 8th floor. We agreed to meet at the lobby in next 10 minutes then he went up to his room to get something and I went to my room to keep all baggage and grabbed some money to joy the night but had forgotten to get camera with me.

We took taxi from hotel to that restaurant. A taxi driver can’t understand English and really liked honking as my boss told me earlier. However, we finally made it to the restaurant. I don’t know anyone there nor have met but they were all nice and friendly. My boss introduced me to his colleague who is French and working at the same company as us but I have never heard of his name. He was a nice young guy who has a Chinese girlfriend that came along with him too. She was very fun friendly girl who share the same birth month as me. (I will show you guys how lovely she is in next journal because I took load pictures of her)

I started my drink with Margarita and my boss was so kind to pay me a drink! One never enough so I did finish the first glass of Margarita a bit fast so I did order another glass myself without bothering my boss to pay for me.

Only few drinks then I started getting drunk and dizzy so I went to toilet on the 2nd floor. While I was waiting for my turn then there was one young farang guy was waiting next to me did talk.  Him : Are you high?

Me : High? Me? Nooooooo!!!! I was a bit drunk. A bit tired because just arrived and straight to have a drink here. (I know that I had always too much smiling while I was drunk so no wonder why he asked me that question)

Him : Where are you from?

Me : From Thailand.

Him : Oh, I always love your country but have never been….

And that our friendly conversation had began…. He is an American young guy who has been working in China for few years now. His friend had recommend him to visit Pai in the north of Thailand. He asked me how to speak ‘I am allergic to nuts’ in Thai and he wrote them down to his cell phone because he said he might need to say that when he come to Thailand for traveling in the future.

I kept walking in and out of restaurant and sat half awake half sleeping in front of restaurant several times till my boss finally came to check me whether I was ok. I did order another drink that same as my boss had just wanted to try its taste. I had forgot the name of it and I have never heard of it before. The drink was full of green leaf in it. The taste was a bit bitter and strong.

I can’t remember what time we left from the restaurant to hotel but it was very late and had only few customers there. Although I have always know that my boss was a nice guy but I just realized how truly gentleman my boss was that night. Don’t be naughty! He went to his room and I went to mine. So ended the first day of my arrival in Hangzhou with me got drunk. To be continued…
