After a long pause, I finally have the chance to finish up journals from my trips in January! You can find the previous journals on Hanoi or Luang Prabang Part 1.Continue with my trip in Luang Prabang. Again, tons of food photos. ^_^Let's start with something else for the time being. This is our airport transfer, a very classic looking black mercedez. ^_^L31.jpgL30.jpgBreakfast at the hotel's terrace with the peaceful view of the Khan River.L29.jpgSaw this one cat during my visit to one hotel. Just show how relaxing the town is huh?L35.jpgI didn't expect to see this at all. It's on the way from the hotel to Night Market. Shows how ppopular Thai food is, don't you think? L28.jpgNow back to the many food I tried in Luang Prabang, which add extra 2 kg into me after my 6 days trip!!!Traditional grilled squidsL27.jpgThe 3 Nagas specialty, the one and only Luang Prabang pizza with chicken, traditional pork sausages and buffalo sausages, Pizza Muang Ak. L34.jpgSin - Daad, Laos barbecue. L36.jpgUa - Takrai, traditional laos sausage with chopped lemongrass.

L37.jpgLuang Prabang Salad with their special water veggieL38.jpgJiaw Bong, buffalo skin chilli paste, saab laai laai!L52.jpgKhao Peak - Laos noodlesL53.jpgTam Mhee - similar to spicy salad with angel hair noodles. It tastes ok but not my favorite. L54.jpgThe shop where we had Khao Peak and Tam Mhee, it has really nice river view!L56.jpgL55.jpgThis is the most talked about ice cream in town. L57.jpgBut be warned, it sucks!

If you are looking for good ice cream in Luang Prabang, check out Blue Lagoon. It has one of the best ice cream, I've ever had! The price for the ice cream there is on par with Haagen Daz! (No Photo though)Before ending the food photos, I have one more photo of the menu, that you might be interested in. L41.jpgThe highlight of visiting Luang Prabang is the alms giving in the morning. We asked the hotel to prepare the sticky rice for us. It's quite expensive but with the set up, and location, I'd say it's worth it!The set up was in front of The Chang Inn, sister property of Chang Heritage, located on the main road close ot Wat Sene. The cute part is they also prepared "Sa-bai" for us girls. ^_^L42.jpgL43.jpgL45.jpgLuang Prabang morning scenesL44.jpgL46.jpgL47.jpgCute doggie at the morning marketL48.jpgLetter Box - Heep-Poy-Jod-MhaayL49.jpgFor some reason, I think this photo is just so Luang Prabang. L50.jpgMekong river view at sunsetL39.jpgAnd that's the end of my Laos trip. My next trip is quite a sudden trip to Cambodia. I am trying to negotiate it down to 3 days instead of 6 days! I hope I succeed !!!! Until next time... Ta-Ta!
