President Obama Address to Joint Session of Congress
Usually a American Preasdent doesn't visit Congress except for the "State of Union" address once a year. This precedent was set by George Washington who visited Congress early in his early in his first term, the Congress was not polite and gave old George hard time. So old George said I won't be coming here again. So it is kind of historic for a President early in his first term to visit to congress. However, given the nature of the current "Economic Crisis" no one objected to his visit. Sure glad President Obama is at the helm, instead of W.
