Ringgggggggggg...........

 "Yup....I'm having dinner....Nah you go ahead, I probably get home a bit late...  Uh huh...... Right..... Nah, I've got my keys..shall hit home before midnight don't worry... I'm just with someone"  Then his face turned red and he got upset.Weeks ago, before my freedom was stolen by work....

I had something to do at the Emporium and a guy who had been talking to me for about a month was around and wanted to see if we could meet up.Not my problem eventhough the DIY mosaic was much more interesting. We had an ok conversation. But I was not so into him. When he heard that I said I was with 'someone', he asked what was on my mind. 'NOTHING !!!' shrugged my shoulders..He said I could have said that I was with 'a friend'..but I couldn't. I knew his intention..and I knew if he found something in me that he didn't like, he would not talk to me again ( which he has stopped now as I had predicted ) But that's not what 'friend' means in my dictionary. 'Or you could have said you were having a date'Rolling my eyes... IT WAS JUST A DINNER ! A quick dinner that I paid in the end just to shut him up.I have made my point clear, that I'm in the stage of no dramas...no gig, no crush, no date, no bf............ So I didn't think it was wrong for a meal and I didn't think that it would turn someone to a date..a hot date or a very special date....I didn't think that only a meal would turn someone to a friend when he didn't want to be just friends. And now that he has stopped talking to me because I can't give him what he wants... even some attention. So I don't think it's so wrong to say that I was with someone. And I just said to someone ( again ) today... "Sorry, I'm a woman with a mind of my very own" He said..he knew that.. We'll see !!!!!!!!!
