I really wanna introduce everybody even if Thai ppl about one of the national park in Thailand.

I went to Thi Lo Su Waterfall (¹éÓµ¡·ÕÅëÙ) that is the largest waterfall in Thailand (or South-east Asia?)

This is located in Tak province and about 150km south of Mae Sot.

It was long journey to get there. But it is worth to go in Thailand.

This time we took like a back packer way to use local transportation.

At first go to Mae Sot, Tak. This town is small but atmosphere is not like in Thailand.

We just stopped over for transit but we could see ppl here do not look like typical Thai because of tribes (ªÒÇà¢Ò) or Myanmar(I guess). I could see a lot of Myanmar character.

After that we rode song-tew for 4 hours? this was really tough because of a lot of local ppl and winding road (worse than Mae Hong Son). But it was kind of fun. We can feel local ppl?s life.

During these 4 hours, I saw a Refugee Camp. I would like to go in but I think it is prohibit. It was interesting some tribes are Christian you can see a church in middle of pict.

From Um Pang to Waterfall, we took 2 hours boat trip and 3 hours walking.. Guide said roughing but it was softing(^^;;;

At first, we did not want to take a boat trip but there was no way to go at that time coz road to waterfalls was closed so this is the best way to go (actually you can walk all but it takes 1 day trekking). However it was fun in the nature we could see beautiful bird, waterfalls, local ppl and so on.

After Boat trip, we need to walk for 3 hours. The guide said about 9km.

but next week will open this road(T.T)

Next day, finally we arrived Thi Lo Su Waterfall. I have never seen such a beautiful waterfall in Thailand. It is about 300-400m widths and 200-300m high. We stay for a while and relaxed. Of course, if you want, you can swim.

It is very difficult to say on word so that you can go there and feel it by yourself na.

And one more thing it is better to go just after rain season.

otherwise less water na.

Some info...

From Tak to Mae Sot........it took 2 hours by mini bus(44B)

From Mae Sot to Um phang...it took 4 hours by son tew(100B)

this road is so winding that I felt a car sick...

From Um phang to Fall,

Rainy season NOT allow to enter by car(walking only)

Nov-April you can go by car

I suggest go to during the road is opened and rent a car in Tak or Mae sot

at least. Or ask tour desk for tour trip, I think much cheaper and comfortable.

Guide I met in camp site from chang Mai said that? so I am not sure about it.

This time I paid 2500B+entrance fee (Thai 20B, Foreigner 200B)

2500B include(2night 3day trip)

- boat trip

- trasportaion

- food+water

- Accomodation(tent and cottage?)

- guide fee and so on..

if you want elephant ride or something (farang plan), it costs 3500B
