After 9-11 the NRC said that nuclear plants had to be able stand a 747 jetline crash. OK, so engineers at Westinghouse & GE designed a nuclear plant strong enough to stand a jetliner crash. Now NRC says that nuclear plants designs are to stiff and need to blend with wind a like a tree, so as not to break in hurricane (typhoon) force winds.
