Tear-Jerker
I was truly moved by the story. Read some of the reviews of course there are always the two sides but when I read the plot I know this is my kind of movie.
1976 Tangshan Earthquake up to 2008 Sichuan Earthquake... I wanted to tell more but I don't want to reveal everything here for those who wanna watch it. Oh wait one more maybe its just me. There was this scene I think I was the only one crying hard! The mother was looking for her kid's leg when she decided to cut the leg instead of few more attempts to rescue the kid while the body is under files of rubbles. She doesn't want unnecessary life sacrifices anymore. At that moment I was thinking what if I was put on the same situation a mother has to choose a very painful decision. Now writing this makes me teary-eyed again. I shed enough tears last night.
We watched this last night surprisingly I asked Karnie to join me. Usually I prefer watching movies alone and as much as possible I don't like people sitting beside me but my mood was on upbeat again it must be the effect of margarita! She behaved very well did not poked or dared to talk to me while inside the cinema instead provided me more tissues. It was the lady next to us who keeps on moving. The sound of her plastic bag was really annoying and she keeps on talking to her mobile phone. One more ring yes that's enough! In my loud voice TURN OFF YOUR MOBILE PLEASE!!!
After Shock is showing in House RCA and Lido only. Enjoy the movie!
