Today my karen colleage said she watched news about Thailand and Cambodia and asked me: which side that started the firing first? And what is it about? I am sure about what is going on. They just blamed each other so I don't know who started the firing. So I answered that: De r dumma. Allihopa.

A better answer is that both countries use the border as a way to distract the people from domestic problems.

That is a good idea.

But what does Cambodia have for domestic problem?

Poverty, corruption, etc, etc.

A think a war right now would reunite a very divided Thailand but at what cost? It's just another escalated spat and In the end it will just be blamed on Foreigners and the World Heritage Organisation.. I mean god forbid A Thai or Cambodian ever taking any responsibility for this mess.

This land is 1.5sq miles right? And i thought the Falklands was small.
