That's right, it's fantasy football draft week. Occupational production is always at an all time low during this week.

My job is no different. Everybody is making changes to their fantasy teams rather than actually do what they are getting paid to do haha. Anyone in here drafting/working on fantasy teams at their job?

In many countries they allow people to wager on the games so they don't need to do a fantasy league. :-) All fantasy football is, is a form of competitive wagering.

Absolutely right. It is a form of bragging rights too. I find the leagues more fun if you personally know the other players.

You bring up a good point. It is a form of competitive gambling, but I wouldn't classify it as a betting medium used in lieu of conventional sports betting. I know many people who play in fantasy leagues for money and bet on individual games for additional money.

Of these people; the savvy ones bank and the others walk around with no shoes haha. Always have limits. Football has many variables so I only ever bet on one type of sport and do reasonably well at it. Go with the sure thing instead of trying bank on underdogs.
