Spent a great weekend in BKK. Managed to catch up with some good old friends and meet some interesting new ones - Sapredon!

Finally went to watch 50 first dates on Thursday night and it was surprisingly good. Adam Sandler movies are always hit & miss and the fact that Drew Barrymore was back as well put me off a little. Duos are great in first movies but somehow the second one always comes up short - just think Tom Hanks & Meg Ryan who did Sleepless in Seattle and then followed up with a lame You've Got Mail. Fortunately they did get the chemistry back and it was hillarious despite the fact that myself and 3 other friends were the only ones in the whole cinema laughing our heads off! Maybe there's something lost in translation in the Thai script?

Had a birthday bash on Friday night for one of my Japanese friends in Thong Lor. Music had no beat but the DJ did try...Saturday night was better in Khao San in a place called "The Club". With a name like that you can't go wrong now can you? Finally caught up with Sarpedon after promising him bribes of cute Japanese girls! Its probably not very unusual but I found it strange speaking to an asian guy with a British accent. Now I know its completely natural but its something I don't see very often having grown up in Australia and being exposed to American culture I never really thought British asians existed! But after getting over that fact we managed to have a great time. The music was good, the scenery better

All in all was a great getaway for a weekend from my hectic life in Phuket (sounds ironic doesn't it?) and sure looking foward to getting back again!

Indman...Nice to catch up with ya! Sorry i couldnt make it to Thong Lor but had another arrangement!! hehe. Sat night was good. I had the same experience when i was in Spain...went to a Chinese reataurant and heard Chinese people talking in Spanish!! Very strange to start with but we all spoke Chinese in the end anyway!!

I went to see 50 first date on Sunday too. I think Adam Sandler is wicked!! Love his movies. Drew is ace in this too. See "Duplex" as she is in that with Ben Stiller and that guy is funny!! Thats a good movie too.

You got some cool friends but you need to bring mnore cuties!! hehe. You look pretty hookep with your woman...shes nice!! Till the next time...

There was one more added to the bank on Saturday night!! They were all sisters (one younger and one older) and the Mr Miyagi Guy was the bf of the older one!! he was well old though!!

Damn Sarps you have got to be my sensei! You could get lucky when Mr. Miyagi can't satisify so you'll have to step in!

But have you seen The Karate Kid..he looks old but his karate chops are lethal. If end up eating dirt in front of the ladies, I am sure they will not be impressed! hehe
