suddenly, my partner, IBM Thinkpad, got sick. She is freezed everytime I type any key. i can use only track point and clicks. I call customer support and they sent me courier service to pick up my notebook. I dont know how long will it take for recovery.

Anyone has same experience like this?

Hmmmmmm. Has anybody else had the experience of a PC totally going **** up on them....Hmmmm. Buy a Macintosh and kiss the days of screwed up computers good bye. They never get viruses and never break down.

It could be anything. I would need to look at it or ask you what you were doing at what point it locked up. It could be a virus,spyware, or software conflicts. Especially since you've been used to this machine for some time. So it's hard to say, let IBM handle it for now.
