TFer's, finally i got a chance to get soe pics up. These pics begin from depating Thailand to our time spent in Tucson Azrizona. There is just so much to see and do. once we get to Kentucky, in about two more days I will post some new pics of the trip through New Mexico and Oklahoma.

We have been so blessed on this trip. Everyone who hosts us is quite eager to feed us, drive us around and show us the sights of their area. We consider ourselves very lucky.

New Mexico was great and I think of all the places without water (an ocean) that is one place I could live if it wern't for the bloody noses mai and I both had from the elevation (7,900 ft). But it was beautiful and the people very friendly.

Once in Oklahoma we stayed on a huge working farm belonging to my relatives. I got to see the house my grandparents lived in nearly 90 years ago. We picked (collected) wild blackberries as well for pie and jam making. Mai got jiggers from this activity. They are microscopic animials that bite your skin around undergarment lines. Ouch! Very itchy! we've moved on to Stillwater Oklahoma where we are staying with an old friend from Thailand. the Asian markets here are huge and the produce cheap so we have ben making Thai fod everyday and night. You can get everything from Thailand here due to the large Vietnamese and Thai communities. Who knew?!

Today we go on a wine tasting tour (yum!) and visit the old city of Guthrie (named after the famous folk song writer and singer.)

We will depart tomorrow under the rain and thunderstorms or Hurricane Denis as we drive 10-13 hours to Nashville Tennesse. Departure time: 4:30 am! That we arrive around 16:00 with enough time to get a hotel.

Miss you all very much. Peace.

Hi Mark! Nice to hear from you! :-)

I was starting to get worried because I didn't hear from you for a long time. Glad to hear that everything is OK and under control, and that you have a good time.

Take care! Hope to see you again soon!

I wondered when we would hear from you again, RC. Well, post those pics because they weren't attached to your journal nor is there any link. So many questions! What car did you end up buying? What is the Angel of Yala thinking about the USA (without comments about George Bush)? Ohhhh many more! Talk to us more often!
