Father and son
When will I have the day
That you and I will come into agreement with one anothers' ways
That day when chicken and rabbit have stopped their stubbornness
And taken everything beautiful experienced in our lifetime which we have harnessed
To teach one another and accept one another for who we are
When will that day come to brighten our faces with smiles
I wanted that day since yesterday
I wanted that day when I was sitting on your lap
While you were teaching me the arithmetic map
While you as a father were showing me the ways
That built my foundation as the man that I am today
When will that day come to brighten your eyes
To finally show you that I've come a million miles
When will that day come that your pride
Will just die
And see that I'm your son
When will that day come...
