Credit Card Questions

Umm...I want to ditch my U.S. card and get something in Thailand. I'm pretty aware of the requirements to apply and have all of the legal documentation except for a 6 month backlog of my account. Can I just use my bankbook instead of going to the bank and requesting a backlog of my account and waiting 2 weeks to get it? Any bankers out there want to answer some other questions? (Thanks in advance for any helpful material)

and if you want to purchase anything online, now K-Bank has issued some kind of this stuff providing 16 digits number and cvv and you can limit your budget.

Readily available online are pre pay credit cards. Very good idea- allows easy budgeting and very safe as you can only lose what you have paid onto card.
