thaibel
Well, skip all these topics about sex and boobd and knobs? My question is: Are people, especially in this western world becoming less tolerant? I don't know about BKK and Thailand as I never lived there, but how is the situation there? (this last question should only be answered by Thai ppl or ppl living for quite a long time in Thailand. 3 examples from here (in Belgium): 1. One man complained about the noise little childeren made on the playground during their playtime. The police came and measure the noise with decibel meters. ????????????? 2. One women complained about the noise a group of card players made, during their game, in a train. The complaint was accepted and the men were warned to make less noise or they would be refused to take the train. 3 Some ppl buy a piece of (cheap) ground and biuld a house on it near the airport. After a few years they start a committee against the noise they have to deal with from planes which r landing and taking off. I speak abt ppl how just bought a house there. Mostly elder ppl, who lives for a long time, don't complain of it. Own experience: 1. last time I was in the bus, heading for my home, after a day of working. On the bus there were some very young girls (I think 14 - 15 yrs old) gigling and babbling together. An older men said to them to shut up, because they were disturbing him. 2. A lot of complaints about a square near the place where I live, that was renovated in an open place . A lot of youngsters come there for skateboarding, online-skating ....... and so on. What are the reasons: R we more stressed? Aren't we able to deal with anything because we became individualists, just thinking abt ourself? Before if u were a police man most ppl would look up to u and threat u like somebody with authority (that's the same with all civil servants and i speak with some experience) and now ppl start arguing with them and even go to the ombuds service to put complaint with or without any arguments. Just ur opinion.
