Treborz
Generally speaking what is the weather like in places like Samui during the months of July - September. Is it still warm and Sunny or is it basically torrential rain every day of the week?

0 khun_lung
The "low season" means it rains. But it's normally not an all day rain, just maybe rain for an hour and then clear up again. In my opinion it's a great time to take advantage of the lower prices while still getting a great beach holiday!
0 GoldMember
Certainly in the period june -october in 1985,86,87,88 when i went to samui/phangan the weather was largely pretty good;cloudy days ,sunny days but rarely wipe-out rainy days. .Apparently the mountains to the west bordering the Andaman sea, somehow absorb a lot of the south-west monsoon.Anyway thats how it was--but maybe ,with an acceleration in global warming and the crazy weather of recent years, its different now? 0 Ngairo
its actually greatest time for honeymooers, why should u be bother travel the whole day, i'd rather stcik myself in a room.ok seriously, weather is terrible; monsoon does effect widely. maybe u could visit hua hin or samed instead; just another option from the south! So what does that cost?.....
