Certainly in the period june -october in 1985,86,87,88 when i went to samui/phangan the weather was largely pretty good;cloudy days ,sunny days but rarely wipe-out rainy days. .Apparently the mountains to the west bordering the Andaman sea, somehow absorb a lot of the south-west monsoon.Anyway thats how it was--but maybe ,with an acceleration in global warming and the crazy weather of recent years, its different now?

its actually greatest time for honeymooers, why should u be bother travel the whole day, i'd rather stcik myself in a room.

ok seriously, weather is terrible; monsoon does effect widely. maybe u could visit hua hin or samed instead; just another option from the south!

So what does that cost?.....
